It's Labor Day Weekend, the unofficial end of summer. The weekend is expected to bring a mix of weather including heat, sunshine and rain. Here are some things to do locally:
BBQ: It's a popular weekend for cookouts, so head over to Butcher Boy or The Meat House and grab some steaks, burgers, hot dogs, and whatever else you like on your grill.
Art: On Sunday, a new art exhibit, "James Prosek: The Spaces in Between," opens at The Addison Gallery of American Art at Phillips Academy.
Farmers' Market: The Andover Historical Society has their Farmers' Market open Saturday. Grab some produce for your cookout.
Apple Picking: Smolak Farms will welcome autumn with a series of events, starting with the opening of pick-your-own apples on Saturday. Apples are available by the half-peck (10-12 lbs.) for $25 or half-bushel (20-24 lbs.) for $35.
