Woman Retrieves Dog from Icy Water
The police logs for Saturday, March 5, and Sunday, March 6, contained one arrest and several small incidents.

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.
Saturday, March 5
- At 3:43 a.m. a tractor trailer operator reported an erratic motor vehicle operator in a white Mazda who was “all over the highway” on Interstate 495. The motor vehicle was swerving across all three lanes, according to the tractor trailer driver. The driver got off Exit 39. Police did not locate the vehicle.
- At 8:19 a.m. a caller reported that her dog fell through the ice on a body of water near Glenwood Road. She said that her mother is now attempting to get the dog. Police advised the caller to tell her mother to get off the ice. The woman and dog escaped safely while the police were still on the phone.
- At 9:11 a.m. a manager at CVS had police review security tape of a possible shoplifting incident.
- At 11:02 a.m. illegal dumping was reported on Olympia Way. Someone had dumped chairs, a Christmas wreath, a rug and a small oven on the side of the road.
- At 6:13 p.m. a two-car motor vehicle accident was reported on North Street. No injuries were reported.

- At 2:17 a.m. police arrested Deborah Leigh Kingston, 21, 65 Beacon St., Melrose, on River Road. Kingston was charged with a marked lanes violation and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
- At 3:15 a.m. police assisted the State Police with a rollover on Interstate 93. One officer assisted with Spanish-speaking occupants. A motorist that drove too close to the scene of the accident was cited for a move over violation.
- At 11:22 a.m. harassing phone calls were reported on Brechin Terrace.
- At 11:45 a.m. an officer reported several potholes on River Road near North Street and Old River Road.
- At 2:12 p.m. a road rage incident was reported on Route 114 in North Andover and ended in Andover.
- At 3:12 p.m. a cat bite incident was reported on Iroquois Avenue.
