Young Andover Stars to Appear in Theater Production

Four Andover performers will be starring in a musical this February called "Once Upon a Mattress" and will appearing on multiple dates at the Stoneham Theater Company show.

The production, meant for performers from grades 1 through 6, will begin performances of the show on Feb. 1 and continue until Feb. 12.

The Andover cast includes Caela Flanagan, Brita Martin, Colby Stack and Katherine Stack. The young residents are four of many young stars appearing the musical. 

"Once Upon a Mattress" is a retelling of the classic, "The Princess and the Pea." It surrounds a queen who's trying to plan a royal wedding for her son, Prince Dauntless. However, his true mate comes from an unlikely place for a princess; the swamp.

The production schedule includes Wednesday, Feb. 1, 10 a.m. (school matinee);
Saturday, Feb. 4, noon; Sunday, Feb. 5, noon; Wednesday, Feb. 8, 10 a.m. (school matinee); Saturday, Feb. 11, noon; Sunday, Feb. 12, noon.

Advance tickets are $10 for regular admission, $15 after Feb. 1^st; kids & students are always $10.
