Arlington Persian Restaurant Sabzi Shuts Down
Due to the pandemic and staffing challenges, "the size of our little restaurant just could not adequately sustain itself," ownership said.
ARLINGTON, MA — A Persian restaurant closed its doors after a decade on Mass. Ave. in Arlington.
In a statement on Facebook, the owners of Sabzi wrote, "the size of our little restaurant just could not adequately sustain itself, given the many pandemic hurdles and the ongoing staffing shortages."
The announcement was met with disappointment from fans, with one person writing that it was a "regular family favorite."

"Hope you can restart your business after taking some rest. Your food was so special," another replied.
Sabzi first opened about 10 years ago in the former Prose location, according to Boston Restaurant Talk, which first reported the news. The restaurant was located at 352 Massachusetts Avenue.
