ARLINGTON, MA — Resident Ellen Eisner first participated in the Jimmy Fund Walk in 2006 before returning to the event a decade later when it took on an entirely new and more personal meaning after she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Eisner's condition has yet to slow her down, as she has only become more motivated to make a difference by starting a fundraiser built around one of her greatest skills.

Eisner founded heARTfelt in 2023, an arts, crafts, and jewelry nonprofit whose proceeds benefit Dana-Farber. Eisner has personally auctioned off all her creations in her backyard. This year’s edition of the heARTfeltauction will be virtual and open from Sunday, May 4, through Saturday, May 17.

“I love arts, crafts, and jewelry. At the same time, I am personally committed to doing everything I can to support the fight against cancer,” Eisner said. “The Jimmy Fund Walk is so inspiring, and I love walking with thousands of people coming together in support of the same cause. I’m hoping to do my part.”
