Community Grant Window Opens In Arlington
The deadline for submissions is in mid-January.

ARLINGTON, MA — The town announced that the application period for its yearly Community Development Block Grant Program has begun for fiscal year 2026.
The program was created by the country’s Department of Housing and Urban Development in 1974. The goal of the program is to develop livable urban communities through the creation of housing, a viable living environment, and economic opportunities. The CDBG Subcommittee will prepare all applications and present them to the Select Board for final approval. The deadline for submission is Monday, Jan. 13 at 4 p.m.
The town is asking completed applications to be submitted to CDBG Administrator Mary Muszynski at mmuszynski@town.arlington.ma.us. They can also be submitted in-person to the Planning Department Office in Town Hall.
