Community Police Academy Returning In Arlington
The police department invites civilians to learn about police procedure in the complementary program.

ARLINGTON, MA — Less than a week remains for community members to register for the police department’s winter session of the Community Police Academy.
The free eight-week course begins on Jan. 9 2025 and take place each Thursday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the police station’s community room, located on 112 Mystic St.
The academy includes scenario-based learning using real equipment and technology at the department’s disposal. Topics advertised include emergency response, cyber crimes, identity fraud protection, crime scene investigation, and more.

Interested residents can find the applications in the “Resources and Programs” portion of the town’s website. Applications can be submitted to records department or emailed to policerecords@town.arlington.ma.us. They must be submitted by 12 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 16.
