Deer Put Down After Crashing Through Arlington Shop Window

The deer was badly injured after going through the front of an auto parts shop on Mass. Ave.

ARLINGTON, MA – A deer was euthanized after crashing through the window of an Arlington store Monday. Arlington Police Capt. Richard Flynn told The Boston Globe the deer badly injured itself when it went through the storefront of an auto parts shop on Mass. Ave.

No one was inside the shop when the incident happened. Flynn told the Globe that deer have gone into local residences and businesses before, but it "doesn't happen too often."

The deer had injuries to its neck and stomach. It was put down after officers consulted with Environmental police, YourArlington reported.
