When police encountered the three teenagers involved, they explained they had been traveling on the bike path when a fourth, older individual, came up from behind and asked them to get out of his way. They told him there was plenty of room for him to pass them.

In the process of attempting to go around the youths, the adult biker apparently crashed his bike, and blamed the trio of teens.

He proceeded to advance upon them, slash the front tire of one of their bikes, and yell “Now you can f!@#ing walk!”

A woman passing evidently called 9-1-1, which is when the adult involved thought it best to leave the area. The teens considered chasing him, but opted to wait for police to arrive instead.
