Level 3 Sex Offender Registers In Arlington

ARLINGTON, MA — The police department announced Thursday that a Level 3 sex offender has re-registered in town.

Richard Bent, 59, is registered as living at the apartment complex on 1080 Mass Ave. His criminal record dates back to 1990, when he was first convicted on the charge of open and gross lewdness and lascivious behavior. More than 20 years later, he was convicted of the same charge. His third offense came in March of 2015, when he was convicted of enticing a child under the age of 16.

The department emphasized the importance of informing the community of Bent’s presence and others like him. He is described as a white male who is six feet three inches tall weighing approximately 200 pounds.
