ARLINGTON, MA — Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan and Arlington Chief of Police announced Wednesday that an official investigation into a fatal crash that took place on Tuesday, Nov. 26 at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Dundee Street. Harlan Cuklanz, 85, was transported to Lahey Hospital after being struck by a Toyota Prius while crossing Massachusetts Avenue at approximately 6 p.m. on that day. Cuklanz later died from his injuries. The driver of the car, who is described as a 47 -year old from Lexington, reportedly remained on scene in the aftermath of the collision. In addition to the DA's Office and Arlington PD, the investigation is also being conducted by the State Police's Collision Reconstruction and Analysis Section.
