Richard (Dick) F. O’Brien III, of Venice, Florida, formerly from Arlington, MA, passed away on September 23, 2015 after a brief illness.

Dick was the beloved husband of the late Carol (Brothers) O’Brien and the son of Richard F. O’Brien II and Julia A. (Stacchi) O’Brien, both departed. He was the oldest of eight children and brother to Barbara Corelli, the late Robert O’Brien and wife Abigail, John O’Brien and wife Bonita, David O’Brien and wife Joan, Karen Shaw and husband John, Paul O’Brien and wife Joanne and MaryAnn O’Brien.

He also left behind many nieces and nephews and countless friends.

Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, September 29, from 4-7 PM in the DeVito Funeral Home, 1145 Mass. Ave., Arlington with a closing service at 7 PM in the Funeral Home Chapel.
