Reprecincting, State Of The Town Forums In Arlington Wednesday
Learn about the reprecincting process, as well as the town's ongoing economic recovery, at two public meetings Wednesday.

ARLINGTON, MA — The town will host two significant forums on key ongoing issues Wednesday.
The first, the State of the Town event, will be hosted by the Arlington Chamber of Commerce starting at 10 a.m.
The event will include a panel discussion with Select Board Chair Stephen DeCourcey; Town Manager Adam Chapdelaine; Director of Planning and Community Development Jennifer Raitt; Economic Development Coordinator Ali Carter; and moderated by Executive Director of Arlington Chamber of Commerce Beth Locke, followed by questions and answers. - COVID-19 challenges, impacts, and response of the Arlington Economic Development Recovery Task Force since March 2020.
- Community Development Block Grant funding for small businesses and microenterprises, along with other accomplishments of the past year.
- Discussion of future challenges and opportunities for collaboration between Town and Chamber to improve the business climate in Arlington.
- Discussion of Town's American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) allocations for economic development.

The League of Women Voters will host a forum on the town's reprecincting process Wednesday night. The meeting will be held over Zoom from 7-9 p.m.

The forum is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Arlington and the Election Modernization Committee to help residents understand the reprecincting process and how they can provide input to assist the town with revising the draft maps.

- 7:30 p.m. – Answer questions
- 7:45 p.m. – Breakout groups for discussion
