ARLINGTON, MA — The play structure of Reinhart Park at Cutter School has been temporarily shut down as of Thursday, according to the town.

Caution tape was placed around the playground on School Street after the town’s Playground Safety Inspector deemed it unsafe. Temporary fencing is slated to be installed to keep people away from the structure until it can be removed by the Recreation and Public Works Departments.

The Parks and Recreation Commission said that it will determine the future of the park during its next meeting. However, the meeting scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 26 has since been cancelled.
Arlington has more than 30 parks and recreational areas. Last month, Poets Corner was also shut down due to safety concerns.
