ARLINGTON, MA — The Select Board is inviting residents to a public presentation and feedback session on Thursday, Jan. 9 about renovation planning for Veterans Memorial Park, according to a report by YourArlington.

The Board voted unanimously to have the park upgraded more than two years ago, with a main focus being adding Veteran names to the monument. Other potential updates included additional bench seating and the establishment of a permanent honor roll that would be updated yearly. The original estimated cost of the work was nearly $2.6 million.

The upcoming forum will take place at the Arlington Community Center on 27 Maple St. Stantec representatives slated to be in attendance, who the town contracted the work to in April.
