Whole Foods Rodenticide Use Sparks Protest In Arlington: Report
Protestors believe the poison is also killing birds.

ARLINGTON, MA — Protestors gathered outside the Whole Foods on 808 Massachusetts Ave. this past weekend to protest the grocery store’s use of rodenticides, according to a report from YourArlington.
The protests stem from the discovery of two dead hawks in the vicinity of the store recently, which protestors believe were poisoned by the rodenticides. A Cooper’s Hawk was found dead in January bleeding from its mouth and nostrils, which is common among animals who ingest the poison. The rodenticide used by the location is an anticoagulant stops blood from clotting when eaten by blocking Vitamin K from the bloodstream.
