Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?

My daughter gets up and goes to work every day. She is the most amazing, unselfish person I know. She risks her health for the company she works for everyday. She’s positive, willing to help customers, all while smiling and making them comfortable. The one thing that no one knows is that she worries about this virus and her family. It gives her a lot of anxiety. But she still goes to work everyday to help the many people who need food for their family. She’s helped out at home with paying bills, and the like. Never complaint about how much she contributes. She is the epitome of an essential worker. She takes a lot of crap from people, but maintains her professionalism. She truly is my hero.

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?

My daughter is an unsung hero in my book. She is an excellent daughter, worker, and most of all an amazing human being. She always puts others first, which is rare these days.
