Alleged Thief Says He Was Preparing for Alien Invasion
The Attleboro man is accused of breaking into two businesses and a state police cruiser.

An Attleboro man was arrested Tuesday in Quincy on suspicion that he broke into two businesses and a state police cruiser and stole clothing items, according to the Boston Globe. Police said Justin Lebovitz, 35, told them he wanted to break into the National Guard Armory to steal weapons in preparation for an alien attack.
The Globe reported:
Officers found the man standing behind a counter of [a Goodies Mini Mart], arrested him, and took him to the police station.

At the station, officers observed that the suspect was wearing three jackets, including a jacket from Sullivan Tire and a state police jacket.
The suspect allegedly admitted to stealing the police jacket from a state police cruiser parked at the National Guard Armory in Quincy. According to police, the suspect said he was trying to break into the armory to take weapons to protect himself from an alien invasion.

Lebovitz was scheduled to be arraigned in Quincy District Court on Wednesday, according to the Globe.
