Attleboro Student Earns PR Scholarship

Jennifer Samson, an Attleboro native and sophomore at Southern New Hampshire University, is the winner of the 2012 James H. Bradley Memorial Scholarship from the Public Relations Society of America's Yankee Chapter.

Named in honor of the Yankee Chapter's "founding father" James H. Bradley, who died in 2010, the scholarship is presented to an undergraduate student at an accredited college or university in Maine, New Hampshire, or Vermont who has a declared major in a public relations-related field.

Samson is a communications major with a minor in public relations.

"I am honored to be recognized by the PRSA and Southern New Hampshire University for this award," Samson said. "Every scholarship helps me pay for school and brings me one step closer to my goal of entering the public relations field involved in some aspect of the media, with a sports team, or a combination of the two. I am so thankful to be given this opportunity."
