In front of a standing and cheering crowd of students, parents, peers and family, ﻿ President Chris Servant recently received the school's prominent Spirit of Feehan 50th anniversary medallion award. The presentation was made by Michael Griffin, superintendent of schools for the Diocese of Fall River. This is an award Servant himself has presented to almost 50 others who have played an instrumental role in the history of Bishop Feehan and the traditions that it represents, and who have helped to inspire and fulfill the original mission of the school. "No one better than Chris Servant epitomizes the philosophy of his alma mater to lead lives of commitment to the person and mission of Jesus Christ," said Sue Rojee, director of alumni and events during the presentation. "As a student, teacher and administrator, Chris is the embodiment of the Feehan ideal." She added that he is "the ultimate ambassador of Feehan spirit— home-grown, born and bred Shamrock whose contributions to this school are unsurpassed by the 9,400 plus graduates who have walked across the stage to receive a diploma from the Bishop."
