Celebrate National Farmers Market Week in style at the , which takes place on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

On the Edge Knife Sharpening will be in attendance. Come early because her time sells out fast. John Atkinson and his Recycled Silver will be back. The Attleboro Youth Commission will have at tent to promote the 84, a program that works to prevent teen smoking.

This week's food drive will benefit Murray UU Church Food Pantry. Bring healthy, non-perishable and not out-of-date food products. Food items such as soups, peanut butter, canned fruits and vegetables, pastas, sauces, canned meats and toiletries such as tooth paste, toilet paper, facial tissues, shampoo and soap are welcome. Cash or check donations will also be accepted. When you make a donation you will be entered in a drawing to win a Kindle. There will be at least two drawings during the season.

Come on down, grab a snack, coffee or tea and just have a seat and a visit! Game boards will be available for use. Challenge a friend, family member or your favorite Market volunteer to a game of cribbage, checkers, chess or trivia!

Tomatoes, corn-on-the-cob, peppers, beans, cucumbers, eggplant, blueberries, raspberries, garlic, onions, potatoes, summer squash, zucchini, lettuce, Swiss chard, kale, syrup, a variety of cheeses and more will be available this week. Visit the managers' tent to pick up discount coupons for New England Tire and SpeeDee Oil Change, and AFM shopping bag or T-shirt. A new order of T-Shirt is now in.

The market is located in the parking lot next to the . Free parking is available at the Sanford Street Parking Garage and Municipal Parking lot, Bank Street Municipal Parking lot, Bank Street, Hayward Street, courthouse lot, or the parking lot adjacent to the Community Garden on Riverbank Road. On-site parking is limited.
