Young Attleboro resident Maggie Porreca, along with witnesses Diane and Bill Jones, recently picked the winner of ﻿ Kindle drawing. The winner was Richard Butler. How did he win a Kindle? Market attendees are asked to bring healthy non-perishable and not out-of-date food products to the market every Saturday. Food items such as soups, peanut butter, canned fruits and vegetables, pastas, sauces, canned meats and toiletries such as tooth paste, toilet paper, facial tissues, shampoo and soap are welcome. Cash or check donations will also be accepted. When a person makes a donation, he or she is entered into a drawing to win a Kindle. There will be one more drawing this season. The market takes place on Saturdays through Oct. 27 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the parking lot next to ﻿.
