Capitalizing on ideal weather conditions, students at in Attleboro staged a car wash Saturday to raise money to reduce the cost of the class of 2013's senior trip.
Under sunny skies and soaring temperatures, Grace Baptist students washed vehicles for four hours in the school's parking lot, located off Oak Hill Avenue. Attired in T-shirts and shorts, the students cleaned several dozen vehicles and were thoroughly and enjoyably soaked for their efforts.
Although the fundraiser directly benefited next year's seniors, members of Grace Baptist's younger classes also assisted.
