The long-awaited Attleboro Dog Park will soon be a reality, and organizers need community volunteers to help with the setup.
Constructing the dog park will be a three-step process—digging holes, placing poles where the holes have been dug and filled with cement, then finally putting a fence around the poles.
Step one is scheduled for this Sunday at 10 a.m. Volunteers are needed to assist with the digging of 82 holes with an auger.

"We are having an impromptu cookout of hot dogs that will be free to all helpers who show up; there will be water too," Attleboro Dog Park Committee co-Chair Carol Ferraro wrote in an email to Attleboro Patch.
The park site is located off Pond street, across the street from the animal shelter/compost area.
