The following announcement is from Seekonk Town Planner John Hansen: MapGeo is a new online application that the town of Seekonk launched in coordination with Applied Georgraphics (AppGeo). It allows the public to look up information for any property in Seekonk. Information includes property addresses, plat and lot data (numbers/dimensions), street names and property record card information.  Also, there are a series of tools available to help aid in gathering information, including a property search feature, a length and area measuring tool and an abutter's list generation feature. In addition, a series of maps are available town-wide, including aerial photos, zoning districts, wetlands and floodplains. Links to other applications are also available, including MapQuest, Google Street View and Bing Bird's Eye. The purpose of this application is to provide access to a plethora of Town data via the Web in order to increase productivity and information sharing between town staff, businesses and residents.  Go to <a href="http://www.mapgeo.com/seekonkma" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">www.mapgeo.com/seekonkma</a> to access the application.
