third- and fourth-graders presented science projects on Wednesday as part of the school's annual science curriculum.
Under the supervision of elementary school teacher Joy Tyrol, the students exhibited their projects in a classroom and in the school's parking lot as they demonstrated various scientific concepts. Projects included production of carbon dioxide to show its effects as well as a comparison of water absorption in different types of soils.
Students used a variety of hand-made props, posters and exhibits to illustrate their grasp of scientific knowledge and applications.
