Students Show Fine Arts Skills

Students in kindergarten through eighth grade at of Attleboro exhibited their flourishing creative skills last Friday when the school hosted its third annual Fine Arts Night.

Drawing rave reviews from a large crowd of family, friends and classmates on hand, DCA students proudly exhibited their artistic skills in various media in the school's gymnasium with a public display of their finest works of art during the current school year.

Concurrently in the adjacent , students performed a variety of musical pieces, unveiling their eclectic creative abilities in myriad ways.

The art exhibit featured mixed-media productions, paintings, collages, paper art, crayon drawings, charcoal sketches, paper mosaics, scratchboards, sculptures, water colors and photography. Prominently displayed in the school's main entrance were the works of 22 students who recently earned special honors during a fine arts competition featuring students from throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island.         

The music program included 19 individual and group productions, featuring singing, piano, human videos, lyrical ballet and an instrumental solo.

DCA art teacher Noa Juarez coordinated the art program and music director Meegan Delvental supervised the music program.
