Assault and Battery With a Dangerous Weapon, Disorderly Conduct and OUI

The following information about recent local arrests and charges was supplied by the Attleboro Police Department. An arrest and/or charge does not indicate a conviction.

The following represents arrests between July 26 and July 28.

July 26

  • *12:08 a.m. Jason Sheldon, 23, of Seekonk was arrested at Maple St. for suspicion of OUI liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and marked lanes violation.
  • 12:49 a.m. Mark McKenna, 21, of Greenfield, NH was arrested on Maple St. for suspicion of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and possession of a Class E substance.
  • 4:30 p.m. Michael Powers, 53, of 435 Thacher St. was arrested at 217 S. Main St. for suspicion of shoplifting.
July 27
  • 1:30 a.m. Michael Carey, 22, of South Main St. was arrested at Riverside Ave. for suspicion of carrying a firearm without a license, possession of ammunition and defacing a firearm serial number.
  • 3:44 p.m. Kyle Jacques, 25, of 27 Emory St. was arrested at 1 Holman St. on a warrant and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
  • 5:06 p.m. Dianne Hayes, 30, of 12 Fenton Ave. was arrested at her home for suspicion of domestic assault and battery.
July 28
  • 3:29 a.m. Paul Sanders, 36, of 1 James St. was arrested on Henshaw Ave on a warrant and charged with disorderly conduct.
  • 12:17 p.m. Treca Pente, 38, of Rehoboth was arrested at Ellis St. for suspicion of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct and reckless operation of a motor vehicle.
  • 1:07 p.m. Luis Garzaro-Portillo, 31, of Pawtucket, RI was arrested at 685 Washington St. on a warrant and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
