Assault and Battery With a Dangerous Weapon, Shoplifting and Disturbing the Peace

The following information about recent local arrests and charges was supplied by the Attleboro Police Department. An arrest and/or charge does not indicate a conviction.

The following represents arrests between August 7 and August 11.

August 7

  • *5:02 p.m. Brenda Nieves, 36, of Pawtucket RI was arrested at 1130 Newport Ave for suspicion of shoplifting
  • 10:54 p.m. Jeffrey Morris, 27, of Buzzards Bay was arrested on Park St. for suspicion of OUI liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, possession of a class B substance, a marked lanes violation and carrying a dangerous weapon.
August 8
  • 12:29 p.m. Joseph Moore, 52, of 135 Fisher St. was arrested at his home for suspicion of domestic assault and battery.
August 9
  • 9:06 p.m. Jacob Duphily, 21, of 8 Foster St. was arrested at Park St. for suspicion of disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, resisting arrest and on a warrant for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle
August 10
  • 4:36 p.m. Ryan Patterson, 25, of 32 Nick Rock Rd. was arrested at 21 Holman St. for suspicion of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and domestic assault and battery
  • 7:00 p.m. Carlos Vieira, 28, of 17 Peck St. was arrested at his home for suspicion of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery, disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace.
August 11
  • 9:56 p.m. Darryl Northrup, 61, of 723 S. Main St. was arrested at his home for suspicion of domestic assault and battery
