Assaulting a Police Officer and Assault and Battery With a Dangerous Weapon
The following information about recent local arrests and charges was supplied by the Attleboro Police Department. An arrest and/or charge does not indicate a conviction.

The following represents arrests between July 15 and July 17.
July 15
- *9 a.m. Theodore Maguire, 32, of Pawtucket, RI was arrested at County St. on a warrant and charged with violating an abuse prevention order.
- 5:37 p.m. Candace Martin, 34, of Pawtucket was arrested at Brown St. for suspicion of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stop for police, failure to stop/yield and receiving stolen property.
- 1:46 a.m. Juan Vizcarrondo, 26 of 106 Park St. Apt. 2 was arrested at Lamb St. and charged with disturbing the peace.
- 2:08 a.m. Matthew Errington, 18, of Taunton was arrested on Lamb St. and charged with larceny over $250.
- 6:40 a.m. Carl Phillipo, 24, of Pawtucket was arrested at 251 Washington St. for suspicion of operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license and unregistered operation of a motor vehicle.
- 11:57 a.m. Nicholas Linfield, 26, of Mansfield was arrested at Washington St. on a warrant and charged with an uninsured motor vehicle/trailer.
- 3:28 p.m. Matthew Medeiros, 32, of Milford was arrested at 88 North Main St. on a warrant and charged with larceny over $250.
- 1:27 p.m. Daniel Pospisil, 25, of Norton was arrested in Providence on a warrant and charged with receiving stolen property.
- 1:55 p.m. William Ringler, 18, of 84 Berwick Rd. was arrested on Bank St. for suspicion of possession of a Class D substance with intent to distribute.
- 2:35 p.m. Dale Pope, 57 of 16 Leroy St. for suspicion of disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest and a warrant for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
- 6:32 p.m. John Coyne, 47, of Mansfield was arrested at 417 Brown St. for suspicion of disorderly conduct.
- 9 p.m. Allan Coutu, 48, of 11 Sixth St. Apt. 1 was arrested at Ingraham St. for suspicion of operating a vehicle with a suspended license.
