Attleboro Man in Court This Week for Manslaughter Trial

The Attleboro man who allegedly shot a man inside a Mansfield apartment is on trial this week.

According to the Sun Chronicle, Tyerell L. Charles has pleaded innocent to manslaughter, claiming it was self defense when he shot Aderito Cardoso of Brockton in Jan. of 2011. His trial began Monday.

The shooting took place at the Village at Mansfield Depot, an apartment complex located at 2904 Francis Ave. where Charles' girlfriend had been living. Charles also suffered from a a gunshot wound during the incident.
