Attleboro Mayor Paul Heroux Wins Re-Election

ATTLEBORO, MA — Mayor Paul Heroux successfully defended his seat during Tuesday's election, after being challenged for the mayoral seat by City Council Vice President Heather Porreca. Heroux got 5,488 votes, while Porreca got 2,617 votes, The Sun Chronicle reported.

According to the newspaper, it was the biggest margin of victory in an Attleboro mayoral race in decades. The turnout was just less than 28 percent.
