Congressional candidate Joseph Kennedy III: The latest member of the Kennedy family to enter politics, he is considered the top Democratic contender for the seat representing Attleboro and Seekonk in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Congressional candidate Sean Bielat: In 2010, he gave outgoing Rep. Barney Frank his toughest challenge in 30 years. The Republican is back this year to challenge for the seat being vacated by Frank and is expected to face Kennedy in November.
