Attleboro's Municipal Election: What To Know

Here's who is competing in Attleboro's municipal election.

ATTLEBORO, MA — The election will take place Tuesday, with polls open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Two candidates are running for mayor — Heather J. Porreca and Paul R. Heroux. Eight candidates are running for city councilor at-large — James J. Dilisio, Jose F. Lemus, Ty Waterman, Richard J. Conti, Cathleen DeSimone, Roxanne Ruth Houghton, Peter Blais and Dale Joseph Rheaume. Five of the councilor at-large candidates will be elected.

Two other contested races include Lionel Choiniere competing against Stephen Withers for the city clerk's position, and Sara-Lynn Reynolds competing against James K. Poore for Ward 1 city councilor.
