Banked Robbed in Seekonk
The reported robbery took place Friday morning at the Citizens Bank in the Stop & Shop on Highland Avenue.

Various sources reported a Friday morning bank robbery at the Citizens Bank in the Stop & Shop on Highland Avenue in Seekonk, not far from the East Providence border. The robbery took place during the 11 a.m. hour, sources say.
FOX Providence reported:
Initial reports claim the suspect passed a note to the teller, claiming he had a weapon, but no weapon was shown.

The suspect is said to be a white male, about 5’7-5’8 tall, wearing a camouflage shirt, and a baseball cap with a wig under it.
Capt. Craig Mace, the Seekonk Police Department's information officer, wrote Friday afternoon in an email responding to Seekonk Patch's request for information about the incident that he did "not yet" have any information and "will put it out when possible."
