Bearded Bandit, Dangerous Driving, Theft

Five arrests are reported for Sept. 17-23.

The Seekonk Police Department  reported the following recent arrests:

Sept. 18

  • *6:46 p.m. Fernando Davila-Carrasquillo, 25, was arrested at Best Buy on Commerce Way on suspicion of larceny over $250.

  • 1:14 p.m. Justin Lee Worley, 33, was arrested at Motel 6 on Fall River Avenue. He is accused of being the bearded bandit, a suspect in several Rhode Island and Massachusetts bank robberies, including one in Seekonk. 

Sept. 21

  • 1:20 p.m. Catherine Rowena Salvi, 22, of Woonsocket was arrested at Target on Commerce Way on three unspecified warrants. Police were called to the scene about alleged shoplifting, according to the log.

  • 12:34 a.m. Michele Leigh Fontaine, 44, of Seekonk was arrested following a traffic stop at Brown Avenue and Meadowlark Drive. She was arrested on suspicion of OUI liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, a marked lanes violation and not having an inspection sticker.
  • 6:21 p.m. Ryan James McCabe, 23, of Warren was arrested on Warren Avenue following a traffic stop. He was arrested on suspicion of OUI liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, a marked lanes violation, a red light violation and failure to notify the RMV of a name/address change.
