City, State Officials Celebrate Tozier-Cassidy Field Groundbreaking

Attleboro representatives commemorated the groundbreaking at Tozier-Cassidy Field Monday afternoon.

City and state officials gathered at Tozier-Cassidy Field to commemorate the groundbreaking for a new football field and track Monday evening.

Speakers included Mayor Kevin Dumas, Attleboro athletic dirctor Mark Houle, principal Bill Runey, Attleboro municipal council president Frank Cook, Attleboro superintendent Pia Durkin, State Rep. Paul Heroux and State Senator Richard Ross.

The $3.3 project actually broke ground on June 8. It is expected to be completed in time for fall sports.
