Day Without Water in Attleboro
Several streets are without water from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Stay with Patch for updates on the progress.

As reported on Wednesday, water service will be shut off today for a portion of Attleboro residents while the city repairs a main line at the intersection of Wilmarth Street and Hitchcock Lane.
There will be no service, according to the Attleboro Water Department, for the duration of the repair work for homes on Wilmarth Street (from Pike Avenue to Cottonwood Lane), Hitchcock Lane, Heritage Drive and Hutchinson Road.
Homes located on streets east of Cottonwood "will initially have water, but the supply will diminish as time goes on," according to the department. This includes homes on Mohawk Lane, Slater Street, Winterberry Lane, Arrowood Lane, Michael Road, Kristina Way, Lorine Road, Pepperbush Lane, Greenbriar Lane, Brigham Hill Road, Brushwood Lane, Teaberry Lane, Woodstock Road, Cottonwood Lane, Regatta Drive, Lois Court, Strawberry Lane, Augsburg Drive, Kamira Way, Mettacomett Drive, Stevensfield Road, Stockade Circle, Jennifer Leigh Drive, K-Marie Drive and Smith Street.
