of Attleboro awarded diplomas during two nights recently in separate ceremonies at the adjacent to 33 students who successfully completed the school's kindergarten program this year.
In front of large gatherings of adoring parents, relatives and friends, graduates wowed onlookers with a vivid display of their blossoming academic skills. Graduates sang songs; recited poems and Biblical passages; read aloud from reading books; illustrated their grasp of phonics and language skills; demonstrated their mathematical abilities; and hosted a video production of the past school year before changing from formal clothes into navy blue graduation robes and mortarboards to receive their diplomas.
All DCA kindergarten students finished the past school year under teacher Christine Bushway and teacher aide Marie Reed, who were forced into double duty because of an unexpected staff resignation.

"About mid-year, we had the experience of losing a Kindergarten teacher, who resigned suddenly," DCA Administrator Frank Rydwansky said. "Fortunately, Mrs. Bushway and Mrs. Reed picked up the slack and handled both classes effectively through the remainder of the year."
Graduates received their diplomas from Mr. Rydwansky and Mrs. Bushway prior to completion of the hour-long ceremony. Graduates and their families then migrated to the church basemen for refreshments and continued celebrations.
