A warrant was issued for Jackson's arrest after he missed a court appearance and failed to pay a fine, a new report finds.

ATTLEBORO, MA — J.C. Jackson wasn't on the field Sunday, but he wasn't in a Massachusetts courtroom last week, either.

An arrest warrant was issued for the former Patriot Jackson — a healthy scratch for the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 3 — after he missed a court date, failed to pay a $300 fine and didn't complete a court-ordered program, MassLive reports.

This latest development stems from a 2021 arrest for criminal speeding in Massachusetts.

Jackson made the Pro Bowl with the Patriots in 2021 after leading the league in interceptions. He signed a deal worth over $82 million with the Chargers the following year but has been plagued by injuries and poor performance since, culminating in the healthy scratch last week when the team played the Minnesota Vikings.
