2 Ejected, Run Over In I-95 Crash In Attleboro
Massachusetts State Police said two people from Rhode Island were seriously injured.
ATTLEBORO MA — Two Rhode Island people were thrown from their car and then run over, restulting in serious injuries late Friday night, State Police said. The crash happened around 11 p.m. on Interstate 95 in Attleboro, according to police.
A 24-year-old Pawtucket, Rhode Island man was driving in a 2009 Volvo C70 when he lost control, causing it to crash, coming to rest in the left and middle travel lanes. The driver and his passenger, a 22-year-old woman, also from Pawtucket, were ejected from the car.
Around the same time, a 2011 BMW 328xi driven by a 17-year-old was traveling southbound and hit the Volvo.

The two people who were ejected from the Volvo were hit by a car, but state troopers aren't sure if they were hit by the BMW or their own car.
The two were both transported to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The operator of the BMW was not injured in the crash.

No charges have been filed at this time, according to state police.
