Man Allegedly Slashes Siblings
Attleboro police say the man slashed his brother during a fight and injured his sister as she tried to intervene.

An early Sunday morning family fight left two siblings injured and a third in jail, according to WPRI in Providence. The television station reported that Peter Chem, 23, was arrested at 21 Holman St. shortly after 3 a.m.
Police told WPRI, according to the station:
Chem had gotten into an argument with his brother inside the residence and when it escalated, he grabbed a knife and slashed his brother in the head. When his sister tried to intervene, Chem allegedly cut her on the hand.

Chem's brother was treated at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence; police had no further information about his condition Sunday afternoon but said neither victim's injuries are life-threatening.
Chem is expected to appear in court on Monday, WPRI reported.
