MBTA Closes South Attleboro Station, Citing Safety Concerns
The station on the Providence/Stoughton commuter rail line has been shut down due to the structural conditions on the pedestrian overpass

SOUTH ATTLEBORO, MA — On Friday, March 5th, The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority shut down the South Attleboro station on the Providence/Stoughton Commuter Rail Line due to the structural conditions on the pedestrian overpass. This station will be closed until further notice.
The MBTA made a statement regarding the closing saying that it is because of "deteriorating structural conditions on the pedestrian overpass" and there have been no further updates on the repairs necessary to open the station back up.
As an alternative, the MBTA is encouraging the public to use the Attleboro station instead.
