More Heavy Rains Possible in Attleboro Area

According to the National Weather Service, the humidity this week could lead to thunderstorms.

The Attleboro area could see more heavy rains this week.

According to the National Weather Service, a hazardous weather outlook has been issued for Southeastern Massachusetts which could result in localized flooding. Heavy rains are expected Monday night into Tuesday.

Scattered thunderstorms can be expected for the remainder of the week.

"All this heat & humidity will lead to some isolated thunderstorms late this afternoon as well as Tuesday & Wednesday afternoons," wrote WHDH's Jeremy Reiner is his weather blog. "If this is vacation week for you be sure to remember *isolated* as most towns will not see storm activity early in the week. As we roll toward Thursday a cool front will sag into southern New England and that front will ram into the heat & humidity still across southern New England leading to more widespread showers & t-storms Thursday & beyond."
