Red Cross Helps Family Following Seekonk Fire
A family of four loses its Arcade Avenue home in a Monday night blaze.

The American Red Cross is helping a Seekonk family of four—two adults and two children—with emergency food needs following the Monday night fire that destroyed its home. The Arcade Avenue fire started in the kitchen and was believed to be accidental, Fire Chief Alan Jack told The Sun Chronicle, according to the newspaper.
The assistance is being provided for free due to "generous donations and the work of volunteers," Red Cross spokesman Paul D. Shipman wrote in a press release.
