Student Murder · Gronk Heist Arrest · Dog Stolen: MA Crime

BOSTON, MA — Police this week continued to search for the gang members responsible for shooting and killing a Salem State University student. Christopher Joyce, 23, was an "innocent bystander" in the May 4 shooting at a low-income Jamaica Plain apartment complex, police said. Joyce was weeks away from graduating and he was reportedly visiting family to celebrate the milestone when the shooting happened. Read more.

In Foxborough, police said they arrested a third suspect in the burglary of New England Patriots star Rob Gronkowski's home during the Super Bowl. Shayne Denn, 26, of Tewksbury, stole guns, watches and coins from Gronkowski's home, police said. Read more.

In Boston, a criminal who stole a car with a dog inside apparently had a change of heart. Police said the individual stole the car in East Boston then ditched it in Everett at a cemetery. The dog was found inside safe and sound. Police are still searching for the suspect. Read more.
