Superintendent Appoints New Willett Principal
Jeffrey Cateon said he has "no plans to go anywhere."

During his first official meeting with the Attleboro School Committee Monday night, Attleboro Superintendent Kenneth Sheehan appointed former Middleboro principal Jeffrey Cateon to head Willett Elementary.
Cateon, a graduate of Boston University and the State University of New York Potsdam has served as an administrator for five years and the previous 12 as a teacher.
He said he has begun preparing for the start of the 2013-2014 school year in Attleboro.
"It’s been a great transition," he said. "I’m meeting a lot of people and getting acclimated to the Willett way."
School Committee Chair Michael Tyler pointed to high turnover at Willett's principal position and expressed hope that Cateon is in it "for the long term".
Cateon replaces Kate Campbell, who took over last year for Catherine Zinni, who moved to Thacher Elementary.
"That’s my hope," Cateon said. " I’m here to stay and be part of the Willett family. I have no plans to go anywhere. I love it. It’s nice."
