1. Possible Storms: The National Weather Service is predicting an ugly weekend, starting Thursday at after 1 p.m. Thursday morning should be partly sunny with a high of 88 but the afternoon and the evening have showers with a chance of thunderstorms. The temperature should drop to about 70 degrees.

5. Tito Puentes Summer Series “Marcus Santos and Mike Ringquist, AfroBrazilian Ensemble”:Come down to the O’Day Playground, 8 W Newton St, South End for the seventh annual Latin concert series. This is high-energy music for the dancing and celebrating crowd. The show is free and starts at 7 p.m.
