Ben & Jerry's Creates Sundae for Shakespeare on the Common

Five Things You Need To Know Today, Friday, August 10

1. Rain Headed Our Way: The morning will start off sunny but will cloud over with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. The temperatures will reach a high in the lower 80s with a 50 percent chance of rain. Thunderstorms and showers are likely in the evening.

2. Ben & Jerry's Creates Sundae for Shakespeare on the Common: With the tragedy Coriolanus well underway, the aptly named C-Oreo-lanus sundae features sweet cream and cookies ice cream on top of a brownie, hot fudge, whipped cream, crushed Oreo's pieces and a double-stuffed Oreo on top. It will be sold at the Ben & Jerry's truck during performances (July 25-August 12) and at Ben & Jerry's Boston stores on 176 Newbury Street and 20 Park Plaza. All proceeds through Aug. 15 will benefit the Commonwealth Shakespeare Company.
