Boston Common Frog Pond Opens November 21st
Annual Skating Spectaculars will take place on December 1st & 31st

The Boston Common Frog Pond, managed by The Skating Club of Boston in partnership with the City of Boston, will open for the winter season for ice skating on Monday, November 21st at 10:00 am.
Consistently rated one of the top places for ice skating in the country, the Boston Common Frog Pond is located in the oldest park in the U.S. and is one of the most popular “things to do” in Boston during the winter.
The Boston Common Frog Pond will be open daily at 10 am and in addition to recreational skating, the rink will also host skating lessons provided by The Skating Club of Boston’s Skating Academy for those looking to perfect their skills.

To celebrate the opening of the Boston Common Frog Pond, The Skating Club of Boston will host their annual Tree Lighting Skating Spectacular on Thursday, December 1st at 5:00 pm. The free event will be headlined by Olympian Ashley Wagner and feature skaters of all levels who train at The Skating Club of Boston. The Boston Common Tree Lighting will follow the Skating Spectacular at 6:00 pm.
Skaters will return to the ice to entertain fans on Saturday, December 31st to celebrate New Year’s Eve with a Skating Spectacular as part of the First Night festivities in Boston.
